ABOUT MERCER

The Mercer Brand is a brand-leader in high-end sustainability, it was founded in 2013 in Amsterdam. We design apparel, footwear and accessories - all in-house in Amsterdam. We sell in high-end department stores, luxury boutiques and in our own brand store in De Pijp. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Store Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the store. A natural leader, you take a hands-on approach and inspire your team to excel. Working five days a week on the shop floor (including one weekend day), you oversee all aspects of the store, including:

Team Management:

• Create schedules and plan staff for busy periods.
• Coordinate and motivate additional team members when two or three people are needed in the store.

Sales and Targets:

• Achieve and exceed monthly store targets.
• Actively participate in sales and set an example for your team.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain an overview of stock levels and ensure the store is always well-stocked.
• Identify and communicate purchasing needs.

Store Events:

• Organize unique customer events to enhance the shopping experience.

General Store Organization:

• Ensure the store always looks its best.
• Solve problems and implement improvements as needed.

ABOUT YOU 

• At least 2-3 years of retail experience.
• Strong organizational skills and a hands-on mentality.
• Passion for fashion and trends.
• A customer-focused mindset, capable of providing an unforgettable shopping experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends and during busy periods.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
